MDA Car Show

The Roanoke Valley Charity Car Show Committee is accepting entries for its 16th Annual MDA Car Show to be held Feb. 23-25 at the Roanoke Civic Center.

Custom cars, street rods, race cars, antiques and classics, pro-streets, motorcycles, pickups, muscle cars, four-wheel drives, off-road vehicles and vans may are eligible.

The show is a benefit for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. There is no entry fee.

Poetry reading

Poet Luanne Keener will read from her work in Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Radford University's Flossie Martin Gallery.

Kenner has been published in literary journals and has won several awards. Her first collection of poems, ``Color Documentary,'' was published in 1994.
