ALLEN, Ashley O., Jr., (``Dickie""), 54, of Martinsville, died Wednesday, December 13, 1995. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday, Freedom Baptist Church. Arrangements by Norris Funeral Services.

BOARDWINE, Roy Campbell, 71, of Martinsville, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995. Funeral Friday, 2 p.m., Mt. View Baptist Church, Collinsville. Tomlinson Funeral Home, Inc., Ridgeway, in charge of arrangements.

BRAGENZER, Frederick Leo, 59, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 1995, at his home. He was a U. S. Army veteran, a member of the Lutheran Church, and was retired from Detroit Edison. He was a member of the New River Squares, a charter member of the New River Valley Rounders, and was an avid ballroom dancer. Survivors include his wife, Lena H. Bragenzer; his mother, Francis Bragenzer of Taylor, Mich.; four daughters, Linda Albert, Tina Bragenzer and Brenda Porath of Radford and Sandy Black of Michigan; one son, William Bragenzer of Parrott; one stepdaughter, Cynthia McInturf of Dublin; one stepson, Brian Williams of Reidsville, N.C.; two sisters, Doris Perreault of Taylor, Mich., and Marie Vicchio of South Gate, Mich., and one brother, Frank Bragenzer of Taylor, Mich. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 1995, at 11 a.m. at the Newbern United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Pulaski County Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.

DALTON, Faye Alderman, 62, of Hillsville, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 1995, at Eldercare of Hillsville. Born on January 25, 1933, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of Leonard and Lina White Alderman of Hillsville. In addition to her parents, she is su rvived by a son, Mark Dalton of Hillsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Ray Robinson of Salem; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Jean Alderman of Rocky Mount, and Roger and Becky Alderman of Moyock, N.C., and two granddaughters, Kelly and Ashley Dalton of Lakeville, Minn. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 15, 1995, at Hillsville Christian Church, with the Rev. Charles Mackey officiating. Interment will be in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society

FIREBAUGH, Ralph Watkins, of Roanoke, and formerly of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 1995. He was the son of the late C. Anderson and Zenella Watkins Firebaugh. Most recently, Mr. Firebaugh was a golf course superintendent, having built and maintained numerous golf courses throughout Virginia. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of the Forest United Methodist Church, was awarded a lifetime membership in the Virginia Turfgrass Association, held a lifetime membership at the Botetourt Country Club, a member and past commander of VFW Post 1841 and a member of Chapter 32 National Assoc. of Watch and Clock Collectors. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Brogan Firebaugh; one son, Norman Firebaugh and wife, Jenny, Lynchburg; two daughters, Lynn Firebaugh, Roanoke, Connie Branon and husband Bill, Kernersville, N.C.; grandchildren including Scott and Justin Branon, Kernersville, Jennifer and Travis Firebaugh, Lynchburg; two brothers, Carl A. Firebaugh, Annandale, Calvin Firebaugh and wife Caroline, Troutville; one sister, Evelyn Carlson and husband Harry, Elma, NY; sisters-in-laws, Hortense M. Firebaugh, Roanoke, B. Stevens and husband Eddie, Fincastle, Patty B. Curtice, McLean; twelve nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 1995 at 2:00 P.M. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Kathy Geochenour officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. HELM, Robert Wesley Jr., 33, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995 after a long and valiant battle, Wes stepped to the other side to wait for us. We know when we see you again, you will be behind the wheel ready to show us around, we will be honored. Surviving are his parents, Robert Wesley Sr. and Nancy Fisher Helm, Roanoke; brother, Russell Walter Helm, Richmond; grandparents, Earl R. and Bertha Sue Fisher, Roanoke; loyal friend, Jim Richards, Roan oke. LUCAS, Julia Brumfield, 86, of 211 Cork Drive, Blacksburg, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born February 7, 1909, to the late Dr. William A. and Effie Thornton Brumfield. Mrs. Lucas attended Blacksburg schools when her father was physician in residence at V.P.I. & S.U. She graduated from Blacksburg High School, attended V.P.I. & S.U., and earned an R.N. from the UVA School of Nursing. She returned to Blacksburg in 1935 when she met and married Dr. Ford Lucas. Mrs. Lucas is survived by her sister, Jo Brumfield Shelly of the residence, and several nieces and nephews and their children. McCORMICK, Katie Craft, 86, of Troutville died Tuesday, December 12, 1995. She was the widow of Lewis R. McCormick. Surviving are four daughters, Pauline M. Ferguson, Vinton, Peggy M. Richardson, Salem, Mary M. Graham, Roanoke, Judy M. Kostecky, Troutville; a son, Ira R. McCormick, Parkersburg, W. Va; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. MONTGOMERY, Calvin Lewis, 70, of Buchanan, died suddenly Tuesday, December 12, 1995. Calvin was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a 42 year retiree of Burlington Industries of Glasgow, Member, Trustee, Deacon, Sunday School Secretary, and Choir Member of the Buchanan Baptist Church. He was also a long time member of the Buchanan Lions Club and an avid farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl C. Sr. and Leomia Carter Montgomery, and brother, Radford Montgomery. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Virginia Johnson Montgomery; a son and daughter-in-law, Lewis Wayne and Kathryn Montgomery of Mooresville, N.C.; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jimmy Deer of Surfside Beach, S.C.; brothers, E.C. Montgomery Jr., Buchanan, and Samuel Montgomery, Narrows; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sherman and Dot Simmons, Buchanan, and Hugh and Betty Simmons, Troutville. ORANGE, Elberta Dooley, 81, of Thaxton, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995 in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bedford County on February 3, 1914, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Dooley and Geneva Hicks Dooley. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Everett Orange. Elberta w as a member of Cool Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by three sons, E. Ernest Orange, Mt. Holly, N.J., Lloyd E. Orange, Troutville, Grady H. Orange, Stewartsville; one daughter, Helen L. Parker, Thaxton; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. RUBLE, Vera V., of Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995. She was a member of Melrose United Methodist Church where she was active in the choir. Mrs. Ruble was a retired bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth C arper. Surviving is her husband, Ralph Ruble; a daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and Donald R. Cook; a granddaughter and husband, Barbara B. and B. C. Huffman, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Leslie Huffman and Chris Huffman; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Lowery; nine nieces and nephews. WIGGINGTON, Helen Dulaney, 85, of Satellite Beach, Fla., formerly of Radford, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995. She was born in Giles County May 12, 1910, and was a daughter of the late Jesse T. and Stella Stafford Dulaney. At her request, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held in Florida at a later date.

WILKES, Virginia B., 80, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 12, 1995, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Wilkes was the widow of Ray J. Wilkes. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Mellinger of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren, and two brothers, Robert L. Stafford of Roanoke and Ralph L. Stafford of Charleston, S.C.
