AARP potluck
RADFORD - The Radford Chapter American Association of Retired Persons will have their potluck dinner today at 5 p.m. at the Radford Senior Center, 27 First St., Radford. Officers for 1996 will be installed.
Senior citizens, age 50 and older are invited to bring a dish and attend. Turkey, gravy and dressing will be provided.

BLACKSBURG - Warm Hearth Village's Showalter Center, an assisted living home for adults, will hold an open house on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2-4 p.m.
"We hope to show folks first-hand what services an assisted living home for adults can provide," said Kathy Boyd, Showalter's director.
