Victory Stadium will be the site of a summer racing series running from May into September.
Events included in the lineup are a legends competition, stock-car racing and a mini-cup series. Special attractions scheduled are guest appearances by racing personalities, double-points races and a Mid-Atlantic Championship Legends event.
The racing schedule begins May 4 and runs through Sept.21, mostly on Saturday nights.

VMI junior tailback Thomas Haskins was named to the Division I-AA All America second team chosen by Don Hansen's Football Gazette. Dave Dickenson, quarterback of Division I-AA champion Montana, was chosen offensive player of the year, while Florida A&M linebacker Earl Holmes was the defensive player of the year.
Haskins led the Southern Conference in rushing for the second straight year, while breaking his own single-season record of 1,509 yards rushing. His 1,548 yards in 1995 placed him fourth in the nation, while his 102 points landed him in eighth place. Add in his kickoff returns, and Haskins accounted for 2,134 yards, also fourth in the country.
Haskins' 3,651 career yards has him in the top 30 all-time in Division I-AA, and at his current pace, he could end up in the top five.
Crystal Wilson of Roanoke College and Hilary Martin of Washington and Lee were chosen to the first team of the all-state volleyball team for small colleges.
The team, chosen by state sports information directors, was headlined by Player of the Year Brenda LaFlamme of Averett College and Co-Coaches of the Year Danny Miller of Averett and Terri Dadio of Washington and Lee.
Kia Williams of Ferrum and Cheryl Taurassi of W&L were named to the second team.
