A Narrows man died in a one-car crash early Saturday in Giles County.
State police in Wytheville gave this account:
Michael Keith Riley, 34, was driving east on Virginia 749 near Glen Lyn about 1:30 a.m. when his car ran off the right side of the road.
Riley lost control, and the car crossed over to the left side of the road. The car then went over an embankment and struck a tree.
Police said Riley, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
