Brown-Jones

Alison Terrell Jones and Van Ray Brown were married July 22, 1995 in Largo, Florida at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks. The officiating clergyman was Pastor Gary Hunt. The reception was held at The Wine Cellar.

The matron of honor was Amy Jones Crist, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kathy Howard, friend, Sherry Warren and Linda Norman, sisters of the groom, and Kim Roberts, friend. Flowergirl was Kaylon Warren, niece of the groom.

The best man was Jaime Beasley, friend. The ushers were Mike Wykcoff, Mike Cabello, Chris Auld, and Jerome DeMacarty, all friends. Ringbearer was Jay Norman, nephew of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Jodie Senter.

The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Alonzo L. Jones, Blacksburg, Va. She is a graduate of Blacksburg High School and Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, Tn. She is employed by Indian Rocks Christian Schools.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Brown, Seminole, Fl., is a graduate of Seminole High School and is employed by Domino's Pizza.

The newlyweds will live in Seminole, Fl. after the wedding trip to Key West, Fl.

Bryant-Economy

Della Ann Economy and Mark Anthony Bryant were married December 10, 1995 in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The Reverend Nicholas Bacalis was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held at the Airport Marriott.

Jane Kiser, friend of the bride and groom, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Denise Stewart and Voula Dallas, friends of the bride and groom; and C.J. Bowers, cousin of the groom. Maria Ziogas was the flowergirl. Dr. Paul Dallas, friend of the bride and groom, was the Koumbaro. Chip Kiser, friend of the bride and groom, was the best man. The ushers were Jimmy Stewart and Nick Apostolou, friends of the bride and groom; and Justin Bowers, cousin of the groom. Ari Ziogas was the ringbearer.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Suttie Economy of Roanoke, Va. She is a graduate of Salem High School in Salem, Va., and is employed by Housecall Health Care. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Bryant of Eagle Rock, Va. He is a graduate of James River High School in Buchanan, Va., and is employed by Gala Industries.

Angela Dawn Horton and Daniel Michael Crouse were married December 30, 1995, in Fort Lewis Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Southern officiating. The reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The maid of honor was Christi Horton, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Allison Livingston, Stephanie McCray, friends of bride, Jennifer Frost, cousin of bride. Flower girl was Taylor Perdue, friend. Ricky Crouse, brother of groom, served as best man. Ushers were David Crouse, brother of groom, Mike Adkins, Paul Bruner, friends of groom. Ring bearer was Michael Hill, cousin of bride. Jr. ushers were Robby Hill and Robert Neighbors. The guestbook was attended by Kelly Pollard. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Horton, Salem, Va. She graduated from Glenvar High School and National Business College, Salem, Va. She is employed by Allstate Insurance Company. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crouse, Salem, Va. He is a graduate of Glenvar High School and Radford University. He is employed by Houston Motor Express. The newlyweds will live in Salem, Va., after a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Divers-Campbell

Stacy Rae Campbell and Timothy D. Divers were married December 30, 1995 in Mill Creek Baptist Church. Doctor William K. Smithwick officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn Airport.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The matron of honor was Pamela K. Linkenhoker of Buchanan, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Melinda Bennett of Greensboro, N.C., Christy Rhodes of Buchanan, Amanda Brown of Roanoke, all friends of the bride, and Melissa Siler of Buchanan, niece of the bride. Flowergirls were Danielle Taylor of Roanoke, niece of the groom, and Iris Caldwell of Mars Hill, N.C., cousin of the bride.

The best man was Cline Dooley of Troutville, friend and Sigma Nu fraternity brother of the groom. The ushers were Brian W. Campbell of Buchanan, brother of the bride, Dwayne Divers of Greenville, S.C., brother of the groom, Jeff Campbell of Bedford, brother of the bride, and Travis George of Roanoke, friend of the groom. Ringbearers were Grant Campbell of Bedford, nephew of the bride, and Ben Creasy of Roanoke, cousin of the bride. Organist was Jimmy Kelly, and the music was sung by Jerry Austin and Connie Robeson. Guestbook attendants were Courtney Caldwell and Laura Caldwell, both cousins of the bride.

The bride wore a formal gown in natural raw silk designed with a portrait neckline, basque bodice, and long fitted sleeves of silk illusions. French alencon lace motif etched in pearls and sequins trimmed the bodice and sleeves. A deep border of beaded alencon lace encircled the hemline of the ball-gown skirt which extended to a chapel train. She carried a cascading bouquet of gardenias, stephanotis, ivory roses and baby's breath.

The bride is a daughter of Calvin and Barbara Campbell of Buchanan. She attends East Carolina University School of Nursing in Greenville, N.C.

The bridegroom, son of Barry and Dot Divers of Troutville, attends Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

The newlyweds will live in Greenville, N.C. after the wedding trip to Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va.

Dollman-Haupt

Elinor O. Haupt and Robert W. Dollman, Sr., were married November 12, 1995, at Melrose Christian Church by Rev. Ken Burger. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.

Maid of honor was Robin Neighbors, daughter of bride. Best man was Robert Dollman, Jr., son of groom. Daniel Wallace Haupt II, son of the late Daniel Wallace Haupt and grandson o f the bride, was candlelighter and ring bearer. Video by Dorothy Wolfe, daughter of bride.

The couple honeymooned in Tenn. and Ga. and reside in Roanoke County.

Epperly-Mauk

Melissa Gwen Mauk and David Ross Epperly were married December 23, 1995 in Parkway Wesleyan Church. The officiating clergyman was Pastor John Ott. The reception was held at Parkway Wesleyan Church.

Crystal Gills, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. The matron of honor was Michelle Granger, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Melissa Foutz, friend of the bride; and Lisa Epperly, sister of the groom. Tiffany Wright and Tiffany Foutz, friends of the bride, were the flowergirls.

Cecil Epperly served as his son's best man. The ushers were Jimmy Dye, friend of the groom; Corey Granger, brother-in-law of the bride; and Steve Davis, friend of the groom. Chad Gills, cousin of the bride, and Michael Granger, nephew of the bride, were the ringbearers. Candlelighters were Corey Granger and Steve Davis. Kelly Gills attended the guestbook.

The bride wore a fully beaded, white satin gown with a long train. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

The bride is the daughter of James Mauk and Ruth Mauk of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School in Roanoke and attended Virginia Western College. She is employed by Minute Muffler Shop.

The groom is the son of Cecil Epperly and Diane Anderson of Roanoke. He attended William Byrd High School in Roanoke, and is employed by Fred Whitaker Co.

Following the wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke City.

Evans-Hobart

Kelly Suzanne Hobart and Mark Gregory Evans were married December 30, 1995 in Derbyshire Baptist Church. Pastor Doug McMurry officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at the Dominion Club at Wyndham.

The bride is a daughter of Sharon L. Hobart of Richmond, and Mr. and Mrs. K. Bruce Hobart of Roanoke.

The bridegroom is a son of Mary S. Evans of Richmond and Ronald V. Evans of Richmond.

The newlyweds will live in Richmond after the wedding trip to the Caribbean

Havens-Bohon

Lynn Bohon and Joseph Randy Havens, Jr., were married December 28, 1995, in the L.D.S. Temple in Washington, D. C. The reception was held December 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Cotton Hill Rd. in Roanoke.

Stacy is the daughter of Roger and Donna Bohon; granddaughter of Sanford R. and Eula Bohon and Donald C. and Roberta Hadley; great-granddaughter of Guy and Annie Ferguson.

Joseph is the son of Joseph and Cheryl Havens; grandson of William E. and Darlene Brown and Joseph M. and Mary Havens; great-grandson of Mildred Kinnan. The couple live in Sale

Hitchcock-Bain

Leigh Cathryn Bain and Michael Shane Hitchcock were married December 30, 1995 in Grandin Court Baptist Church. Rev. Margaret T. Harting officiated. The reception was held in the Fellowship Hall at Grandin Court Baptist Church.

Jennifer Hale, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Stacey Speicher, sister of the groom; and Beth McGuirt, friend of the bride. Alexis Speicher, niece of the groom, was the flowergirl.

Michael Hitchcock served as his son's best man. The ushers were Aaron Hitchcock, brother of the groom; and Stuart Bain, brother of the bride. Stephen Bain, cousin of the bride was the ringbearer.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Bain of Jamestown, N.C., formerly of Roanoke, Va. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and the University of Richmond and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

The groom is the son of Mr. Michael Hitchcock and Ms. Beckie Parks. He is a graduate of Mississippi College and attends Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Following the wedding trip to Disney World, the newlyweds will reside in Louisville, Kentucky.

Karr-Ontiveros

Karla Cristina Ontiveros and Charles Lloyd Karr were married December 30, 1995, in First Wesleyan Church with Dr. Dale Holloway officiating. The reception was held at Woodmen of the World Hall. Scripture reading by Jeff Eckart. Matron of honor was Christy Gaddis, Anderson, Indiana. Bridesmaids were Arianna Eckart, Plymouth, Indiana, Tammy Ogle, Kelly Ontiveros, Kendra Ontiveros, sisters of the bride. The flower girls were Amber Karr, niece of the groom, and Emily Ontiveros, the daughter of the bride and groom. Jason Wuertley, Marion, Indiana, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Clark, Chris Karr and Nick Karr, brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Brandon Karr, nephew of the groom. Organist Eunice Brenneman, guestbook attendant Lisa Tilley, wedding director Lenore Burger, and photography by Barry Brooks. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Efren F. Ontiveros, Roanoke. She graduated from Northside High School. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Erlin Steinmetz and Charles A. Karr of Roanoke. He graduated from William Fleming High School. Both the bride and groom are graduates of Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Indiana. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Light-Motley

DANVILLE - Shearin Elizabeth Motley and John Page Light were married at 4 p.m. on December 30 at the First Presbyterian Church.

The bride is the daughter of Dale Castiglione of Danville and Lyle C. Motley, Jr., of Delray Beach, Fla. The bridegroom is the son of the Right Rev. and Mrs. A. Heath Light of Roanoke.

The bride is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle C. Motley and Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey T. Bray. Officiating minister was the Right Rev. A. Health Light. Music was presented by Nancy Cassada, soloist, and Robert Sutter, organist. The bride was escorted by her father in given in marriage by her family.

The maid of honor was Angie Jones of Westfield, Mass. Bridesmaids were Amy Turman of Richmond, Sarah Light Troy of Richmond, sister of the bridegroom, and Stephanie Cook of Charleston, S. C., cousin of the bride.

Groomsmen were William Light of Chatham, Philip Light of Ronceverte, W. Va., brothers of the bridegroom, Jack Whitehead of Urbana and Mark Williams of Danville. Flower girl was Katherine Elliot Whitehead. Ring bearer was Alexander Heath Light. A reception followed at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Max Levine.

The bride is a graduate of George Washington High School, received a B.A. degree in psychology and a M. S. degree in speech pathology from James Madison University. She is employed as a speech pathologist by Danville Regional Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the Christ Church School, received a B. A. degree from Richmond College and juris doctor degree from T. C. Williams School of Law. He is employed as a partner in the law firm of Williams, Stilwell, Morrison, Williams and Light.

Following a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will live in Danville.

Molloy-Robertson

Kimberley Elizabeth Robertson and Nicholas Peter Molloy were united in marriage on Saturday, December 30, 1995, at 2:00 in the afternoon at Grandin Court Baptist Church with Reverend David Henderson officiating and Reverend Philip Motley assisting. The reception followed the ceremony at Hidden Valley Country Club.

Melissa Swartz, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Whitmore, Kirsti Meador, Sallie Padgett of Aberdeen, Maryland, and Shari Bragg, all friends of the bride. The flower girl was Briana Molloy and the ring bearer was Kaylie Molloy, both nieces of the groom of Parker, Colorado. The guest book attendant was Tonia Switzer, friend of the bride, and the program attendant was Nadine Molloy, sister-in-law of groom of Parker, Colorado.

Leonard Molloy, father of the groom of Lafayette, Colorado, was best man. The groomsmen were Neil Molloy, brother of the groom of Parker, Colorado, Chris Robertson, brother of the bride, Alan Cannaday and Dennis Bragg, friends of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens Robertson of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and attended the College of Health Sciences. She is employed at Virginia Bridal Outlet as a consultant. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Molloy of Lafayette, Colorado. He is a graduate of Ponderosa High School, Parker, Colorado, and attended Metropoli tan State College, Denver, Colorado. He is employed by Roanoke Country Club as a tennis pro.

The newlyweds will reside in Roanoke after a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, British Virgin Islands. They would like to thank their parents, family and friends for all their help in making this day special. Laura LeAnne Childress and Patrick Gerard Morse were united in holy matrimony on October 21, 1995, in Northminster Presbyterian Church, Pastor David Kirk officiating. Laura is the daughter of Nancy and Jack Thomas of Roanoke, Va. and James Childress of Tampa, Fla. Patrick is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Morse, Boca Raton, Fla. The wedding party included: Heather Thomas, sister of the bride, as Maid of Honor. Kirsti Meador and Bharati Jain, friends of the bride, were bridesmaids. Stacey Allen, friend of the bride, and Taylor McDaniel, cousin of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. The flowergirl was Mallory Morse, niece of the groom. The best man was Kevin Morse, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Christopher Morse and Brian Morse, brothers of the groom. Ringbearers were Nicholas and Jordan Morse, sons of the groom. Tasha Allen, friend of the bride, attended the guest book. Laura graduated from Northside High School and Roanoke College, and is currently working as a Paralegal with the Law Office of Dean R. Halper, P.A. in Delray Beach, Fla. Patrick is a graduate of Boca Raton High School and is a contractor for Wright Brother's Painting in West Palm Beach, Fla. After a honeymoon in Disneyworld, the couple reside in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Pursel-Christley

Heather Ann Christley and Arthur E. Pursel were united in marriage on Saturday, the sixteenth of December, nineteen hundred and ninety-five at 4 o'clock at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salem, Va. with Bishop Charles S. Garrett officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith B. Christley of Roanoke, Va. The groom is the son of Mr. Robert E. Pursel of Winchester, Va. and Ms. Deborah Robinson of Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Holly Christley, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Kesler, cousin of the bride; Trish Jones, friend of the bride and groom; Mary Kallio, friend of the bride; Vanessa Wilmott, friend of the bride; and flowergirl, Kami Christley, sister of the bride.

Neil Devlin, friend of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Robert E. Pursel, father of the groom; Earl E. Robinson, Jr., stepfather of the groom; Bill Blankenship, friend of the bride and groom; Chris Czahor, friend of the groom; and ringbearer, Jason Robinson, brother of the groom.

Heather is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is attending Virginia Western Community College. Art is a graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Doylestown, Pa.
