Bills will balance themselves out

PULASKI - Pulaski water and sewer customers may see lower bills in January, but those will be balanced by higher bills in February.

The town is installing a comprehensive computer network program to overhaul its outdated automated financial system and improve its financial management and accountability. The installation has affected the schedule for reading water meters, so customers may get bills lower than normal covering the month of December and higher than normal for January.

Town administrative officials said the meter-reading schedule should be back to normal in February, so bills received in March should be back to normal.
