Meeting moved
PULASKI - The Pulaski County School Board will move the location of its first meeting of the year at 7 tonight.
The board, which normally meets on the second floor of its office building on Third Street, will move next door to the Pulaski County Public Library board room. The change is so a new member, Beth Nelson, will not have to climb the stairs to the regular meeting room after recent surgery.
It will be the first meeting for Nelson, Rhea Saltz and Jeff Bain, all of whom defeated previous board members in the Nov. 7 election. The other two members, Ron Chaffin and Lewis Pratt, were re-elected.
This initial session is described as an orientation meeting. The board's first regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 18.
