Roanoke police are searching for a woman who solicited money from Roanoke residents and businesses to buy medicine for her sick son.
Six residents and businesses have complained to police that the address and telephone number the woman gave them were invalid.
The complaints were made between Dec. 15 and Friday.
Police said some of the people who complained gave the woman money while others did not.
