CITIZENS' SUGGESTIONS SOUGHT BY CITY

The city of Roanoke invites residents to attend a Consolidated Plan Public Meeting today at 6 p.m. in the atrium of Jefferson Center, 541 Luck Ave.

City staff will seek public input about the plan's current priorities and objectives for funding received from the Federal Housing and Urban Development Office. Participants will select one of five small group discussions in which to contribute with topics including: housing, homeless services, human services, neighborhood and community development and economic development.

Organizations competing for available funds must submit proposals by Feb. 9.

For more information or a copy of the plan priorities and objectives, call the Office of Grants Compliance, 981-2141.
