GARBAGE PICKUPS RESUME

Here is a schedule for garbage collection in New River Valley localities:

* Blacksburg Normal pickup has resumed. Christmas tree pickup, originally scheduled for Jan. 8-12, will be rescheduled once the snow begins to melt and the trees already outside can be found. Residents can place trees outside for collectors to see.

* Christiansburg Normal pickup has resumed. There will be no Monday pickup. Mondays collection will be on Tuesday.

* Dublin Normal pickup has resumed.

* Giles County Normal pickup will resume Monday.

* Pearisburg Normal pickup will resume Monday.

* Pulaski County Normal pickup will resume Monday.

* Radford Normal pickup will resume Monday.
