WAGNER, Mamie Hundley, 98, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 13, 1996 in a local hospital. She was the widow of Marvin A. Wagner and a member at Belmont Baptist Church (where she taught Sunday School for 56 years). Surviving are her daughter, Louise Cross; a granddaughter, Rebecca Carter Dyer, both of Roanoke; a great-grandson and his wife, Keith Andrew and Cate Dyer; and a sister, Minnie Crawford, San Mateo, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Mon day from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, with the Rev. Wayne C. Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, where the family will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
WOODFORD, Allen Price, 82, of Bedford, passed away Friday, January 12, 1996 in the Virginia Veteran Care Center. He was born April 4, 1913 in Bedford County, a son of the late Joel S. Woodford and Ella K. Wood Woodford. He was a retired employee of Rubatex Corp., was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Keys Woodford; a stepson, Joseph Edwin Church, Lawson, Oklahoma; a brother Earl Woodford, Lynchburg; a sister, Mrs. Mary Spradlin, Huddleston. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 15, 1996 at 11 a.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by the Rev. William Steele and the Rev. Wayne Murphy. Interment will be in the Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford
