Radford's Kass Kastning, a young scientist who recently spent three months in Antarctica, is scheduled to appear on a national cable television program this morning.
Kastning will tell of his chilly experiences on Fox's fX network live program, "Breakfast Time," which airs from 10 a.m. until noon.
A Radford High School graduate who attends James Madison University, Kastning participated in a National Science Foundation study of icecaps and geology of Antarctica.
In our area, cable television customers of Booth Communications in Blacksburg and sections of Christiansburg and Montgomery County can see the program on Channel 25.
Cable television viewers in parts of Pulaski and Giles counties who have Adelphia Cable Communications expanded package can see the program on Channel 33.
American Cable Entertainment customers in Radford, Pulaski and Montgomery counties and Christiansburg won't be able to see Kastning because the company doesn't carry fX.
