MISSION WORKER TO VISIT GROVE UNITED METHODIST

Services< Grove United Methodist Church in Radford will host John Wesley Inge, a mission interpreter for Red Bird Mission in Beverley, Ky., Sunday at 11 a.m. The church is trying to raise money to support the missionaries it has adopted, including workers in Russia, Marion and now Kentucky.

Christiansburg's Holy Spirit Catholic Church will celebrate Mass at 5 p.m. today at Our Saviour Lutheran Church on Cambria Street. The readings will be Isaiah 8: 23 and 9:3; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13, 17; Matthew 4: 12-33; Matthew 4: 23.

"Celebrating God's Love ... Around the World" is the theme of a congregational global mission event Sunday at 4 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Fifth and North Washington Streets in Pulaski.

The guest speaker will be Steven P. Ridenhour, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Wytheville and former pastor of Trinity in Pulaski, who will talk about his visit to Papua-New Guinea. A covered-dish supper featuring international cuisine will be at 5 p.m.
