FOR THE RECORD

A story on Wednesday's Business page gave an incorrect profit figure for Tultex Corp. The company would have reported 1995 profits of $8.6 million, or 25 cents per share, if it had not faced one-time charges related to debt and administration.

Lord Botetourt High School's Wesley Cox was incorrectly identified in a photo caption in Wednesday's Sports section.

Clarification

Part of a quote in display type in a story Wednesday on a Virginia CARES program that helps parents meet their child support obligations may have given the impression that David Keaton, the program's employment counselor, had children. Keaton does not.
