Business incubator opening delayed
A proposed small-business incubator in Roanoke scheduled to open by the end of next month will take longer than expected to complete.
The latest hope is that the facility will open by May 15, said Hope Player, a Roanoke accountant spearheading the effort.
Backers have not announced a location or manager for the incubator, which is a business location suited to the needs of smaller and start-up companies. An official said last fall that 50 inquiries had been received from potential tenants. - Staff report Bankruptcies
