Pianist Ruth Laredo will not appear with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra Tuesday at Virginia Tech. Friday's Calendar listed her incorrectly.

A Jan. 27 story about 51 layoffs at Litton FiberCom in Roanoke incorrectly reported that the layoffs were the first at the company since 1991. The company laid off 16 workers last August.
