ODU RALLIES PAST VMI

Franco Martin's two-run home run gave VMI a fifth-inning lead, but Old Dominion catcher Matt Quatraro rallied the Monarchs for a 13-7 victory Friday in the opening game of the Citgo Challenge.

VMI's baseball team (0-1) held a 4-3 lead after Martin's homer, but the Monarchs answered with six runs in the fifth. Part of that rally came thanks to Quatraro's three-run homer.

The Keydets face North Carolina State today at 1:30 p.m.
