`WOMEN IN VISUAL ARTS' EVENTS AT HOLLINS

Sondra Freckelton will give a gallery talk on the ``Women in the Visual Arts'' exhibit Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Hollins College Art Gallery.

Freckelton, a nationally known sculptor and watercolorist, is an artist-in-residence at the college and curator of the exhibit, which opens Thursday in conjunction with the school's Founder's Day celebration.

Freckelton will also moderate a panel discussion with artists Jane Goldman and Marjorie Portnow at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Hollins Theatre.
