Family Anniversary
Janet Scheid and Bud LaRoche celebrate the fifth anniversary of the day our son, Colby, joined our family. On February 9, 1991 as we waited at National Airport for his arrival from Seoul, Korea, we could not possibly have imagined the love, joy and laughter that tiny child would bring to our lives.
Harry Hunter Huffman
Happy 90th birthday. Mr. Huffman retired from the Botetourt School System. He was principal at Troutville and Eagle Rock High and Cloverdale Elementary, also was first principal at the new Lord Botetourt High School in Daleville. He is loved and respect ed by all who know him. His wife, the former Ruby Smith, wishes to invite all his former teachers, students, friends and relatives to help him celebrate this momentous occasion at open house from 1 to 4 o'clock Saturday, February 17, at the Williamson Road Masonic Lodge, 3025 Pioneer Rd. Lane named to Dean's List
Diane Lane has been named to the Dean's List at Virginia Tech for the fall 1995 semester. She is a 1992 graduate of William Byrd High School.
Diane is the daughter of Johnnie Lane of Roanoke and Tommy Lane of Hardy. She is the granddaughter of Ruth Mills and Walter Lane of Roanoke and the late Catherine Lane.
