Pulaski County High School has taken first place in the district drama competition for the second year in a row.
The PCHS Players have won five first and two second places in the past seven years.
William Fleming High School, host of the contest, took second. Both groups advance to the regional competition Feb. 24 at William Fleming.
Pulaski performed an original adaptation of ``Through our Eyes'' based on actual quotes of children of the Holocaust.
William Fleming performed ``Colored Girls who have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enuf.'' Third place went to Franklin County High School for ``The Idiot and the Odyssey,'' a comic look at Greek mythology.
