CALDWELL, Lola Mae Holland, 77, of Roanoke, and formerly of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, February 11, 1996. She was the widow of Lonnie Alfred Caldwell, and a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church. She will be remembered by her children, Lonnie Lee and Ramona Lynn Caldwell, both of Roanoke; her loving grandchild, Jonathan, of Roanoke; her sister, Doris Johnson, Washington, D.C.; her brothers, Acie Holla nd, West Virginia, and Dalton Holland, Roanoke; a host of relatives and friends. COLE, Valerie Alexis, 18, of Norfolk, beloved daughter of John and Diane Cole, sister of Shana Cole, of Norfolk; and granddaughter of Joe and Mary Jane DuBois of Sun City Center, Florida, died Saturday, February 10, 1996 at Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Valerie was born in Manassas on September 20, 1977. She is also survived by other family members and loving friends. She graduated from Stonewall High School in 1995 and had been employed at Service Merchandise. Valerie was a member of Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church, where she taught younger children, sang in the choir, and was involved in youth activities. Being an avid swimmer, she was a member of the Sudley Club Swim Team and the Radford Swim Team. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 1996, with Celebration of Life following, at Manassas St. Thomas UMC, 8899 Sudley Road, Manassas, Va. DeLONG, Terry Lee, 44, of Moneta, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 1996. He was born in Bedford County on December 31, 1951, a son of the late William DeLong and Margie Johnson Woods, who survives, of Goodview. He was a commercial steel worker and a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Connie Smith DeLo ng; his stepfather, Harry Woods Sr., Goodview; a son, Jason Lee DeLong, Moneta; two sisters, Peggy Palmer and Mary Baird, both of Vinton; and a brother, John W. EDWARDS, Lucille Haynes, 86, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, February 12, 1996. She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvester Edwards and a daughter, Shirley E. Kingery. Mrs. Edwards was a lifetime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and was retired from Heironimus. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, David L. and Sue M. Edwards, Roanoke, Donald P. Edwards, K ernersville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a sister, Billie King, Kansas City, Mo. He was a retired farmer and a member of Radford Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Brown Tuck; two sons and a daughter-in-law, J. D. TURNER, Noel Faith, 20, of Vinton, went into the arms of Jesus on Monday, February 12, 1996. She will be greatly missed by her dad, mom, sister and her family and friends, but they will rejoice that she can now run, jump and dance with the angels. WELCH, Robert Witten, 70, of 200 Lumar Road, Smithfield, died Monday, February 12, 1996, at Riverside Convalescent Center. He was a native of Bedford County, and retired in 1988 from Phillips & Craghead as a service repair technician with ten years of service. Mr. Welch was a member of Suck Spring Baptist Church, Bedford. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary W. Welch; daughter, Kathy M.
