President Clinton and his peace emissary for Bosnia, Richard Holbrooke, are among 103 people and organizations so far nominated for this year's Nobel Peace Prize.
Imprisoned Chinese dissident and human rights activist Wei Jingsheng received multiple nominations.
The Oslo-based Norwegian Nobel Committee never discloses the names of candidates. However, some names become public, usually because those making the nominations announce them.
Former President Jimmy Carter, who has been nominated several years running, was nominated again.
