Don and the Deltones - the popular local band that plays everything from Sam Cooke to Sam the Sham - will perform at "An Affair of the Heart," the annual ball to benefit the American Heart Association. The event, sponsored by the Montgomery Unit of the American Heart Association and Columbia Montgomery Regional Hospital, is Feb. 24 at the German Club at Virginia Tech. In addition to music and dancing, the evening includes a catered dinner. Saturday's the deadline to reserve a seat. Tickets are $55 per person or $440 for a table of eight.
