MEMORIAL SERVICE PLANNED FOR RADFORD STUDENT

An interfaith memorial service for Christopher T. Mirch, the 21-year-old Radford University student killed in a fire early Saturday, will be held March 4.

The 5 p.m. service will be held in Porterfield Theatre on campus, said Ken Lott, the campus counselor who has been working with grieving students.

Mirch is the second Radford student to die in as many weeks. On Feb. 10, freshman Valerie Cole was found dead of alcohol poisoning in a campus dorm room.
