Bryan Jones of Franklin County earned a spot in today's Group AAA wrestling semifinals with two victories on the mat Friday.
Jones defeated Michael Harper of Great Bridge 4-1 in the 152-pound quarterfinals after recording a 7-1 win in the first round.
Jones' victory was one of the few losses suffered by Great Bridge, which holds a 24-point lead over second-place Stonewall Jackson in the team standings. Franklin County is in 11th place.
