BLACKSBURG SENIOR CENTER TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE THURSDAY

Blacksburg Senior Center's Open House is Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. The Senior Center, two rooms at the Blacksburg Community Center, will be used for senior programs and activities. One room will serve as a multipurpose room for playing cards, reading, watching movies or socializing. The larger second room can be divided into two smaller rooms and will be used for programs and classes. The Senior Advisory committee and Blacksburg town council will attend the open house to celebrate with the Blackburg Seniors Association and area seniors. Eight winners will be chosen from the stories submitted by people living in Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski Counties and the City of Radford. One winner will be chosen from entries submitted by people living outside the region.
