OTTER CREEK CAMP CLOSED FOR REPAIRS

Early-spring campers need to scratch Otter Creek Campground in Amherst County off their list of potential campsites until repair and cleanup work is complete.

The camp, near Big Island at milepost 60.8 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, has a leak in its main water line. Downed trees also need cleared.

The camp should reopen May 1. - Staff report
