LINKOUS TO SEEK FORMER SEAT IN DUBLIN

Colbern Linkous, a former member of Dublin Town Council, will be on the ballot May 7 when three council seats are up for election.

All three incumbents, Dave Farmer, Sam Gregory Jr. and Alden S. Hankla, also have qualified to be on the ballot. Linkous would have to unseat one of them to get back on the governing body.

Mayor Walter B. "Benny" Keister has no opposition for re-election to his office.

Linkous won a four-year term to council in 1990, but lost a re-election bid in 1994. He ran unsuccessfully against Dr. Bruce Fariss last year for the Ingles District seat on the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors.
