Carolyn Sue (Crigger) Fulton, born March 12, 1946, celebrated her golden birthday on March 10, 1996, with relatives, friends, and associates at the Vinton War Memorial.
Carolyn Sue is the daughter of Aileen LaPrade Sayers of Salem, Va., and the late Dick Moir, a United States Marine. Carolyn is the granddaughter of 92 year old Ola LaPrade, and the sister of Christopher Sayers.
Carolyn is married to Gary Fulton, an operations coordinator for United Parcel Service, and in April, they will celebrate their thirty first wedding anniversary. Carolyn and Gary graduated from Jefferson Senior High School, where they were high school sweethearts. They have two sons, Wesley Dean Fulton and Gavin Neil Fulton, both of Botetourt County.
While at Jefferson High School, Carolyn was a magicianette, served as the snow queen in the Roanoke Christmas Parade, and voted best looking of her senior class. Carolyn has worked for the Botetourt County School System for 20 years.
