Virginia Tech has been allotted 350 tickets for its Midwest Regional first-round game against Wisconsin-Green Bay on Thursday in the NCAA Tournament. The game will be played at Reunion Arena in Dallas, and the tip-off time likely will be set tonight.
Tech officials said part of the ticket allotment will go to members of the Hokies' traveling party and others will go to athletic donors with a status of Golden Hokie or higher. A small number will be reserved for students, and any tickets remaining Tuesday will be distributed to athletic donors based on the school's point-priority system.
The Tech Athletic Ticket Office at Cassell Coliseum will begin accepting orders at 9 a.m. today. Student orders, limited to one ticket per student, must be placed at the ticket window with a valid ID card. Orders from donors, limited to two tickets each, can be placed at the ticket window or by calling 540-231-6731 or 1-800-828-3244.
