ROANOKE NATIVE WILL GET AIR TIME WITH TV CHANGE

WDBJ (Channel 7) has changed its schedule for Friday's NCAA Tournament first-round opener. The regional game to be presented at noon will have Louisville against Tulsa, coached by Roanoke native Steve Robinson, the former William Fleming High, Ferrum College, and Radford University star.

The Louisville-Tulsa game will replace Georgetown-Mississippi Valley State on the WDBJ regional schedule from CBS. The station's NCAA coverage begins today with coverage from noon-5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.-midnight, with four games in their entirety and cut-ins to other games.

Virginia Tech's Midwest Region opener against Wisconsin-Green Bay will be the second afternoon game with an approximate 2:45 p.m. start, following Kentucky-San Jose State.
