NEIGHBORHOOD NAMES

LYNN DAVIS has been elected president of the Valley Beautiful Foundation for 1996. Other officers include: Charles A. Blankenship, vice president; Ann E. Weaver, secretary; and Pam Ogden, treasurer.

New board members are: Sydney Nordt, Allan C. Robinson, James R. Tompkins and Mary Boxley.

VIC PLOTNER is the new president of Parents Without Partners, Blue Ridge Chapter. Other recently elected officers include: Margaret Sanders, administrative vice president, Lois Peterson, vice president, membership; Cheryljo Plunkett, vice president, family and youth; Dick Troxel, vice president, programs and education; Shirley Simmons, secretary; and Frances Eades, treasurer.

THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF CHRISTIANS AND JEWS, ROANOKE REGION, has selected FRANK VAN BALEN as its president. Other officers are: Elizabeth Gillis and the Rev. Denise Huffman, vice presidents; and James Bullion, secretary.
