Two clerks at a Northwest Roanoke convenience store reported that a man robbed them early Friday.
Police gave this account of what happened: About 2 a.m. a man walked into the Uni-Mart at 3058 Salem Turnpike, demanding money. The robber placed some type of weapon against the back of one of the clerks. The clerk thinks the weapon may have been a knife. The clerk was not injured.
The robber opened the cash register and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
No arrest has been made.
