Evans-Bradley

Stacey Regina Bradley and John Joseph Evans were married March 9, 1996, in a candlelight service at the New Castle Christians Church officiated by Dr. Ernie Johnson.

The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Jean Bradley of New Castle, Va. The groom is the son of Wallace and Karen Evans of Yorktown, Ind.

Maid of honor was Donna McPherson of New Castle, Va., and honorary maid of honor was Deanna Martin of Tappahannock, Va. Bridesmaids were Lee Anne LaPrad of Mechanicsville, Va., and Loretta Allen of Christiansburg, Va. Junior bridesmaid was Dakota Cromer of Harrisonburg, Va. Flowergirls were Brooke Blevins of Salem, Va., and Angelina Crews of Roanoke, Va. Ringbearer was Justin Carroll of Raeford, N.C.

Joe Harrison of Dublin, Va. was best man. Groomsmen were Mike Bradley of New Castle, Va.; Paul Franklin of Roanoke, Va.; and David Carroll of Raeford, N.C.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Following a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple will make their home in New Castle, Va.

Giallorenzi-Day| Angela Michelle Day and Thomas Robert Giallorenzi were married October 14, 1995, in Windsor Hills United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Meloy officiating. The reception was held at Loch Haven Lake. The maid of honor was Kathy Giallorenzi, sister of groom. Bridesmaids were Merri Lewis Wade and Juliet Zelkowitz, friends of bride. Best man was Dale Linne von Berg, friend of groom. Ushers were Clark BeCraft, cousin of bride, and Sean Bradberry, friend. Ginger Mitchell, cousin of the bride, attended the guestbook. The bride wore her mother's empire waist gown with lace bodice, sleeves and train. She carried a bouquet of sonia roses and freesia. The bride is the daughter of Carolyn and Perry Day of Roanoke and is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eva BeCraft of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School, Roanoke, and from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. The bride is employed by Tracy Aviary. The groom is the son of Mary and Thomas G. Giallorenzi, Springfield, Va. He received his BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. He is employed by Loral Communication Systems. The newlyweds will live in Salt Lake City, Utah, after the wedding trip to Maui and Kauai, Hawaii.

Kanode-Coe

Jeannie K. Coe and Robert L. Kanode were married January 27, 1996 in Hollins Road Church of the Brethren. She is a daughter of Richard and Jennifer Parks of Wytheville. He is a son Hugh and Nancy Kanode of Roanoke.

Lineberry-Rorer

Danielle Rae Ro rer and Anthony T. (Teddy) Lineberry were married Saturday, March 16, 1996, at 3:00 by the Rev. Michael Slaughter at West Salem Baptist Church. The reception was held at the Roanoke Moose Lodge.

Danielle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rorer. Teddy is the son of Ted and Gayle Lineberry. Danielle is employed by Lewis Gale Clinic and Teddy is employed by Plastics One.

The couple will live in Salem

Tate-Shackleford

Amy Elizabeth Shackleford and Shannon Edward Tate were married Saturday, March 16, 1996 in Cave Spring Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Rick Brown officiating. The reception followed the ceremony in the church reception hall.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Douglas Shackleford, III of Roanoke. She attended Liberty University and is employed by Fishers of Men Christian Bookstore.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randal E. Tate of Hardy. He will graduate from Old Dominion University in May with a degree in sports medicine.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a Victorian gown. The bodice was V-neck, beaded satin which came to a point in front, and the back of the dress was beaded with lace and flowed into a semi-cathedral train. The bottom half of the dress were layers of tulle accented in lace and beading. The bride carried a white lace Bible, which is a family heirloom, and a bouquet of white gardenias and roses. Her maids of honor were her sisters, Miss Allison Shackleford and Miss Susan Shackleford. The bridesmaids were Mis s Tonya Tate, sister of the groom, and Miss Lori Brent, Miss Amy Gabris, Mrs. Kristi Britts, Mrs. Tonya Brown, and Mrs. Libbi Padula, who are all friends of the bride.

Mr. Randy Tate, the groom's father, served as best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Randy Womack, Mr. Todd Naff, Mr. Tommy Hogan, Mr. David Boris, Mr. Mark Killen, Mr. Travis Alderman, and Mr. Kevin Davidson, who are all friends of the groom.

The guestbook attendant was Miss Rachel Foster, a cousin of the groom. The flowergirl was Miss Cara Sizer, friend of the bride and groom, and ringbearer was Mr. Christopher Crawford, cousin of the groom.

The newlyweds will honeymoon in Jamaica and will reside in Roanoke.

Willis-Nichols

Tiffany Ann Nichols and Kevin Dwayne Willis were married February 24, 1996 in Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Colwell officiating. The reception was held in the Fellowship Hall.

Joyce Nichols, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. The best man was Monroe Willis, father of the groom. Ushers were Kevin Nichols, Ronnie Willis, Tony Willis, and Travis Willis. The ringbearer was Douglas Graves and Christy Graves was flowergirl. Wedding portraits were by Barry Brooks Photography.

The bride is the daughter of Connie Nichols and Curtis Nichols, of Vinton. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and is employed by QFS.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Willis of Copper Hill. He is a graduate of Floyd County High School and is employed by Farrell Ford. After a wedding trip to Virginia Beach, the couple resides in Roanoke.

Yopp-Stallard

Donna K. Stallard and Timothy W. Yopp were married September 16, 1995 in Valley View Wesleyan Church. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Randy Garner. The reception was held in the fellowship hall.

Joan Adams, close friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Kelley Stallard, sister-in-law to the bride, Brenda Wimmer, close friend of the bride, and Laurie and Kristie Yopp, sisters of the groom. The flowergirls were Heather and Stephanie Anderson, cousins of the bride.

Jerry L. Yopp, father of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were David Stallard, brother of the bride, Scott and Brent Craighead, friends of the groom, and Andy Guilliams and Mark Hypes, cousins of the groom. The ringbearers were Billy and Tommy Stallard, half brothers of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. William Stallard and Ms. Lois Stallard, both of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Virginia Western Community College. She currently is employed by Carilion Health Care Systems as a Registered Nurse.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Yopp of Check, Va. He is a graduate of Floyd Co. High School and served three years in the Army. He is currently employed by Advance Auto Stores, Inc.

The newlyweds would like to thank their parents, family and friends for all their help and support in making this a special day. The couple would also like to extend a warm thank you for all the lovely gifts they have received. A special thank you goes out to Linda Thompson, Lucy Collins, Cindy Garner, Melissa Garrett, and Carol Harrah for all their help.

The couple will reside in Check, Va. after their honeymoon trip to the Bahamas.
