Virginia Western didn't defend its state community college championship, but it did win the consolation game Sunday, beating Patrick Henry 137-100.
Virginia Western lost to Thomas Nelson 110-108 in Saturday's semifinals.
Tremayne McHeimer blistered the nets for 43 points for the Blue Stars, who ended the season with a 14-5 record. Bruce Jacobs added 26, and Sam Barrett scored 19.
Rod Mitchell led Patrick Henry (12-9) with 21 points. Adam Haynes added 17 points.
The Blue Stars led 65-44 at halftime and expanded their lead in the second half.
