``Diabolique,'' a remake of the 1955 French thriller, opened Friday at Cinema USA Crossroads. The opening was omitted in Friday's Extra.

A story Friday incorrectly reported that no one spoke for Del. Frank Ruff, R-Mecklenberg County, at a Franklin County Republican mass meeting last week. Franklin County Republican Erick Moore spoke on behalf of Ruff, who is seeking the nomination to run for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 5th District.
