         Mountain View Elementary School in Roanoke County was incorrectly 
      named in a Sunday story about the Odyssey of the Mind competition.

STUDENTS EXPLORE THEIR CREATIVE SIDE IN ODYSSEY OF MIND

Roanoke-area students competed in the regional Odyssey of the Mind competition Saturday at Northside middle and high schools. First-place winners will compete at the state contest April 27 at Radford University.

The winners, divisions and categories are:

"Amusin' Cruisin','' division one, Salem Program (West Salem Elementary), first; Crystal Spring Elementary, second; Green Valley Elementary, team A, third; division two, Cave Spring Junior High, team A, first; Sacred Heart (Danville), second; Glenvar Elementary, third; and division three, Cave Spring Junior High, team A, first; Cave Spring High, second.

"OMvention," division two, Community School, first; Glenvar High, second; Greater Roanoke Home Educators, third; and division three, Lord Botetourt High, first; Cave Spring Junior High, team A, second.

"Classics ... Great Impressions," division one, Penn Forest Elementary, team A, first; Buchanan Elementary, second; Salem Program B (South Salem Elementary), third; division two, Community School, first; William Byrd Middle School, second; Cave Spring Junior High, team A, third; and division three, Cave Spring High, first; Lord Botetourt High, second.

"Crunch," division one, Garden City Elementary, first; W.E. Winners of the Renatra Fusca Creativity Award are: Penn Forest Elementary, Crystal Spring Elementary, Stuarts Draft Middle, Community School and Patrick Henry High.

Outstanding OMer Awards were given to: Cave Spring Elementary, Highland Park Learning Center, Oak Grove Elementary, Community School, Buchanan Elementary, Crystal Spring Elementary, Botetourt Intermediate, Amanda Wilkerson, Cloverdale Elementary, William Byrd Middle and Lord Botetourt High.
