Clarification

Faith Ringgold, who will be at Blacksburg Middle School Thursday and Friday, is a painter, mixed media sculptor, performance artist, writer and teacher. The "In the Schools" column in the Tuesday New River Current was not clear about her background.

Corrections

In a March 21 New River Current article about girls' soccer, the names of players Helen Smartt of Christiansburg and Catherine Koebel and Katy and Kym Devens of Blacksburg were misspelled.

Pulaski County High School student Kristin Vaughn has applied to but has not yet been accepted into the Governor's School. A March 21 New River Current article incorrectly reported her status.
