A team from Southview United Methodist Church will go to Gary, W.Va. Aug. 4-10 to renovate a building to be used as headquarters for the McDowell Mission. Volunteers may get more information by calling the church at 362-1767. A religion brief on March 14 incorrectly described the project.

The Lincoln Terrace Parent Teacher Association held a fund-raiser March 15 for a scholarship established in honor of the school's former principal, Douglass C. Dowe. The scholarship was described incorrectly in the March 14 issue.
