Barnes-Dillon
Kimberly Lyn Barnes and Eugene Claiborne Dillon, III are happy to a nnounce their engagement. Kimberly is the daughter of Linda Barnes and the late Walter Barnes of Vernon, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Radford University and is employed by Radford Plaza Cinemas and Radford Community Hospital. Clay is the son of Gene and Vickie Dillon of Radford, Virginia. He is attending New River Community College and is employed by Radford Plaza Cinemas. The couple plans to be married in May 1997.

Mr. and Mrs. David Barrett of Little Rock, Ark., are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Becky, to Chad Streeter of Nashville, Tn. Becky is a 1993 graduate of Roanoke Valley Christian School and is currently a junior health and physical education major at Tennessee Tech University. She has been on the golden girl dance team for 3 years. The groom is a senior at Tennessee Tech majoring in Marketing. The wedding will be on May 18, 1996, in Cookeville, Tn.

Clay Jr. of Moneta and Carole C. Clay of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is employed by Dr. Thews and Dr. Merian, DDS. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry D. Reynolds of Hardy, Va. and is a graduate of Franklin County High School. He is currently attending ECPI and is employed by Technology Service Solutions.

Donna, a graduate of Virginia Tech and St. Leo College, is an accountant at the Coast Guard Finance Center. John, a graduate of Virginia Tech, is a nuclear engineer at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The wedding will take place on October 26, 1996, in Virginia Beach.

Elizabeth Reeves Ely and James Richard Shulstad are engaged and planning to be married July 20, 1996 in Wytheville. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Alexander Ely of Wytheville. She graduated from Converse College, Spartanburg, S.C. with a BA in Music and English, and Florida State University, Tallahassee, with a Master's in Musicology. She is finishing her Ph.D. at FSU in Musicology. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Charles Shulstad of Barnesville, Minnesota. He graduated from Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minn., with a BS in Music Education, and Florida State University with a Master's in Trumpet Performance. He is employed by Rural Retreat High School as the Band Director.

He was graduated from Pearisburg High School and is employed by M.S. Carriers.
