She is finishing her Ph.D. at FSU in Musicology. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Charles Shulstad of Barnesville, Minnesota. He graduated from Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minn., with a BS in Music Education, and Florida State University with a Master's in Trumpet Performance. He is employed by Rural Retreat High School as the Band Director.
