POLICE SEEK AUTO BANDITS

Blacksburg police are searching for suspects who stole a car early March 25 from a residence on Stonegate Drive.

Police said three other thefts from cars of about 60 compact discs, sunglasses and other items happened the same morning and may be related to the car theft.

The stolen car is a 1995, maroon, Mazda MX-6 with a rear spoiler and sun roof. The license is ZRX-8324.

Anyone with information about the car theft should contact the Blacksburg police at 961-1150, or the police tip line at 961-1819 or the HEAT (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) line at 1-800-947-HEAT.

Police may pay a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
