Montano's restaurant in Townside Plaza, Roanoke, will begin an eight-week course in wine tasting on April 10. According to Edward Laucella, who will conduct the sessions, classes will be centered around blind tastings of five or six wines of a particular type, representing various styles or regions. Winemaking, consumerism and pairing wines and foods also will be covered.
The class, which will meet weekly at 7 p.m., costs $80 per person or $150 per couple, including wines. For more information or to enroll, call 344-8960.
