CULLOP, David Allen, Sr., 54, died Monday, April 1, 1996 in Candler General Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the American Legion and was a driver for Averitt Express Company. He is survived by two sons, M ichael D. Cullop of Brandon, Miss. and David Allen Cullop Jr., of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one sister, Peggy C. Williams of Marion, Va.; four brothers, Charles P. Cullop of Greenville, N.C., Maurice H. Cullop, Jr., of Wytheville, Va., Richard D. Cullop of Fayetteville, N.C. and William C. Cullop of Marion, Va.; his mother, Pearl Myers Cullop of Marion, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 7, 1996 at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Marion, Va. with Rev. Ron Rhodes officiating. DOOLEY,Glen W., 84, of Shawsville, died Wednesday, April 3, 1996 in Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was the son of the late Walton and Georgia Shanks Dooley. He was a retired employee of P & G Enterprises in Huntington, West Virginia and was a member of Crockett Springs United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Frances Bone Dooley; two daughters, Florine Dooley, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, Frances Dooley, Oma, West Virginia; one sister, Doris Shupe, Christiansburg; one brother, Howard Frank Dooley, Shawsville; a step daughter and step son-in-law, Barbara and Lawrence Richardson, Marietta, Ga.; two step grandsons and their wives; two step great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Corcxkett Springs United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev., Russell Davis and Rev. James Angle. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of the church following the service and at other times at the home, Shaw Valley Court, Apt. 4, Shawsville. FLORA, Marshall Lewis Sr., 73, of Boones Mill, died Friday, April 5, 1996, in the local hospital. He was the son of the late Harvey B. and Elizabeth Peters Flora and was preceded in death by a brother, Howard B. Flora Sr. Marshall was a long time and faithful member of Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren, where he served in many capacities such as deacon, choir member, Sunday School teacher, moderator for the Virlina District and member of the local district and national Standing Committee. He retired as executive director of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and was a veteran of World War II. Either through his church work or his work in the Chamber of Commerce, he spent much of his life in service to his God or fellow man. He was a man of great strength and was an inspiration to his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pauline S. (Polly) Flora, of the home; his children, Sandra F. Traylor, Vinton, Marshall L. Jr. and Gay Flora, Ellen F. Page, all of Boones Mill; his grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Traylor, Adam and Megan Flora, Brandon and C. J. Page; a son-in-law, William Traylor, Roanoke; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma and Parker Leffue, Reba and Jarius Plunkett, all of Boones Mill; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Rev. Kermit P. and Polly Flora, Bridgewater, Mary S. Flora, Boones Mill. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren with Pastor Bruce Huffman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. MASON, John Pratt, Sr., 67 of Lexington, Va. died Thursday April 4, 1996 at his home. Mr. Mason was born August 6, 1928 in Orange County, VA. A son of the late Rosa Tucker Mason. He was a member of the R. E. Lee Memorial Episcopal Church. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn B. RULEY, Bradley Houston 54, of Lexington, died Friday, April 5, 1996 in the University of Virginia Hospital. Mr. Ruley was born December 10, 1941 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Wade Hampton Ruley and Julia Fix Ruley. He was a member of the Ebenezer A.R.P. Church and served as a Deacon, Elder and Church Treasurer. Mr. Ruley was a mechanic in the Lexington area for 33 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Ruley and a sister, Julia Ruley. Surviving are his wife, Mattie Camden Ruley, Lexington; two sons, Keith H. Ruley, Bradley L. Ruley, both of Lexington; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Julia R. and Clinton Staton, Kathy M. SEXTON, Florence Lillian Abbot, 76, of Bedford, died Thursday, April 4, 1996 in the Lewis-Gale Hospital. She was born in Bedford County on May 31, 1919, a daughter of the late Leslie Comer Abbott and Lillian Margaret Clinebell Abbott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie Cecil ``Dickie"" Abbott. She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and was retired from General Electric. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne S. and Buddy Logwood, Roanoke, Judy S. and Richard Leftwich, Bedford; a son, Lewis Cecil ``Dickie"" Sexton, Moneta; two grandchildren, Debbie Custer, Bedford, David Logwood, Roanoke; one great-grandson, Daniel Custer, Bedford; she is also survived by her faithful companion, Susie.
