Davis birth
Dylan Wayne Davis, weighing 9 lbs. 2 ozs. and 21 inches long, was born March 13, 1996 at 2:10 pm at Lewis Gale. His parents are Leo & Teresa Davis. Grandparents are Bob & Sylvia Ratliff and James and Juanita Davis. The attending physician was Dr. Forth. We would like to thank our family & friends for all the support and help. Special thanks to the 2 West nurses, especially Susan, Tina, Carol & Gloria.
Davis birth
Hi, my name is Spenser Mackenzie Davis. My proud daddy and mommy are Brad and Lisa Davis. I was born at Community Hospital on March 5, 1996 at 10:10 p.m. I weighed in at 8 lbs. 3/4 ozs. and was 211/2 inches long. My proud grandparents are Roger and Margaret Sowers and Dennis and Wanda Davis. I also have an aunt, Beth Davis and an uncle, Matthew Sowers. I would like to thank Drs. McLennan, Farber and Buchanan, and staff for taking good care of me and my mommy.
Richards birth
Four brothers, Joshua Sorrells, Douglas, William and Stephen Richards, ages 14, 12, 8 and 7 respectively, would like to announce the birth of their fifth brother, John Marcus Richards. The proud parents are Dr. Paul and Pam Richards. Born at 6:03 p.m. on December 2, 1995 at the Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley, John Marcus weighed 8 lbs. 31/4 ozs., and was 201/2 inches long. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Richards of Blacksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ogle of Galax, and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Alderman of Austinville. Many thanks to Dr. Al. Hurt, attending physician, and to Millie, RN in labor and delivery.
Rowe birth
Matthew Robert Rowe was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1996, in Community Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs. and was 20 inches long. Matthew's proud parents are Timothy and Maureen Rowe. He has a big sister, Kathleen, age 6; and two big brothers, Timothy, age 5, and Daniel, age 2. His grandparents are Robert and Virginia Canfield and James and Helen Rowe, all of Roanoke. Mrs. Alice Canfield is Matthew's great-grandmother. Dr. Farber and Dr. McLennan were the attending physicians
Carper birth
Alayna Christin Carper was born on March 28, 1996, at 8:09 a.m. in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Va. She weighed 7 lbs. .08 ozs. and was 18 3/4 inches long. Alayna's proud parents are James and Melissa Carper. She has a big brother Andrew C. Carper, age 7. Maternal grandparents are Hubert and Jean Brooks and paternal grandfather is William B. Carper. Dr. Catherine Slusher was the attending physician. Wildwood Band will be honoring Alayna's homecoming. The proud father is the bass player for the band
Hazelhoff birth
Paul and Evelyn Hazelhoff would like to thank God for the special gift He has given them. Heather Marie was born March 7, 199 6, weighing 6 lbs. 14.2 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Proud grandparents are Ben and Elsa Burec from Fincastle and Lambert and Louise Hazelhoff from Powhatan. A special thank you to Dr. Todd Stillson and the staff at Franklin Memorial Hospital for their support during labor and delivery and all those who kept us in their prayers
