COPIES OF WBRA DOCUMENTARY ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

Those who missed the WBRA-TV (Channel 15) documentary special "Bitter April: Lee's Retreat Across Virginia" Sunday night may still order copies of hour-long special featuring Civil War historian and Virginia Tech professor James I. Robertson.

Produced and directed by WBRA's Jim Hammerstrom, the documentary combines historic still photographs of the period and new videography. Robertson, as well as historians from the Petersburg and Appomattox Court House National Battlefield sites, describe the events of that first week of April 1865 as Grant pushed Lee's army westward into surrender.

A videotape copy of the program is $29.95, which includes shipping and handling, and may be ordered by calling 344-0991 or (800) 221-0991.
