West and North Roanoke County cable subscribers will soon be able to watch their Board of Supervisors' meetings live.
By November, Booth Communications hopes to have a fiber-optic link with Cox Communications that would allow it to broadcast the meetings live, said Booth manager James Matthews.
"Until the link is put in, we have to rely on [video] tape," he said.
Roanoke Valley Television broadcasts the Board of Supervisors' meetings live on Cox's Channel 3.
RVTV will also begin broadcasting Roanoke City Council meetings in May after the council elections.
Booth Communications, which offers RVTV on Channel 3, airs the meetings later.
Booth has about 3,300 subscribers in Roanoke County, mostly in the Glenvar and Mason's Cove areas, Matthews said.
