LIBERTY HIGH STUDENT ARRESTED IN SCHOOL FIGHT

A 15-year-old Liberty High School student was arrested Wednesday on a charge of malicious wounding in connection with an April 4 fight at the school.

On Tuesday, deputies arrested a 17-year-old student in connection with the fight, which broke out after a school assembly. The 15-year-old student had already been charged in the incident.

Another 17-year-old student was treated for facial and head wounds and released from Bedford County Memorial Hospital.

The two students who were charged have been taken to the Lynchburg Detention Home and suspended from school.
