BLACKBURN, William Henry, 85, of Glasgow, went to join his wife and daughter in Heaven on Thursday, April 11, 1996. His friends and family left behind will miss him tremendously, but rejoice in the knowledge that he now walks with God. Mr. Blackburn was born in Rockbridge County August 26, 1910, son of the late James Monroe Blackburn and Julia France Fainter Blackburn. He was a lifetime member of the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School Superintendent, and Mentor. He was an inspiration to many and friend to all. He was preceded in heaven by his wife, Pauline Smith Blackburn; and daughter, Esther Kaye Blackburn Watkins. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Charles Landes, Glasgow; two sisters, Frances Blackburn Hubbard, Grand Rapids, Mich., Helen Blackburn Coleman, Buena Vista; three granddaughters, Debra Landes Walker, Pikeville, N.C., Deneen Landes Mohler, Glasgow, Charlotte Marie Watkins, Buena Vista; one grandson, William John Adam Watkins, Natural Bridge Station; also five great-grandsons; and a special friend, Viola Firebaugh, Natural Bridge Station. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 14, 1996, at 2 p.m. from the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Rev. Barry Nall, Rev. David Bain, and Rev. Conald Fogus officiating. Burial will follow in Glasgow Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service, Buena Vista, and at other times at the home of Nancy Landes.

BROWN, Gracie Holcomb, 91, of Rt. 5 Martinsville, died Thursday, April 11, 1996. Funeral 4 p.m. Saturday, Norris Funeral Chapel, Martinsville.

CHOCKLETT, Mary Dawn Perdue, 94, of Roanoke, died Friday, April 12, 1996, at home. She was a longtime member of Belmont Christian Church. Mrs. Chocklett was the president and owner of Progress Press Inc. She was the widow of Abram Luther Chocklett Sr.; and is survived by her children and their spouses, Margaret Cox, A. Luther Chocklett Jr. and wife, Madeline, Ruth Davis and husband, M. Clark, all of Roanoke, Clarence C. Chocklett, Robert L. Chocklett and wife, Betty, all of Vinton, Mary Odum, Moneta, Marvin L. Chocklett, Roanoke; 19 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; six great- great-grandchildren; her brother, Herman Perdue, Roanoke; her sister, Irene Dillon, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at Belmont Christian Church 12 noon, Monday, April 15, 1996, with Rev. Michael Barnes officiating. Interment in Fair View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Belmont Christian Church Memorial Fund. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

CLARK, Susie Bradburn, 83, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 1996. Survivors include three faithful and attentive daughters, Brenda (Ronnie) Jordan, Roanoke, Joyce R. Clark and Rosa J. Clark, both of Augusta, Ga..; three grandchildren, Melvin E. Clark, Ymeika Jordan, both of Roanoke, Mohamed Kakay, Augusta, Ga.; one sister, Louise Belhumer, Corona, Queens, N.Y.; five foster children, Toby Brown, Shirley Saunders, both of Roanoke, Kathy Shipman, Richmond, Debbie Saunders, Wayne Saunders, both of Dallas, Texas; six sisters-in-law, Mildred Clark, Anita Bass, both of Roanoke, Inez Wilson, Milwaukee, Wis., Margie Clark, Juanita Clark, Audrey Bradburn, all of Roanoke; one brother-in-law, Clarence M. Clark, Roanoke; a devoted niece and nephew, Nannie M. Easley and Robert Bradburn, both of Roanoke; a special friend, James A. Taylor; one dedicated cousin, Augusta Scott, Washington, D.C.; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. Central Baptist Church with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Hamlar Curtis Funeral Home.

GARA, Rodney Mor, 19 year old son of Lewis M. Gara and Brenda S. Bryan, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, April 11, 1996. He was a student at New River Community College in Blacksburg, Va. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepparents, Sanford Bryan of Richmond and Cydney V. Gara of Nanakin-Sabot; two brothers, Michael L. Gara and John A. Gara; one sister, Taylor V. Gara; maternal grandparents, Joyce and Leon Mercier; paternal grandmother, Marjorie P. Gara; and maternal great-grandparents, Twain and Ella Waltman. GILLINGHAM, Roger D., 51, of New Castle, died Thursday, April 11, 1996, a decorated Vietnam veteran. He was a supervisor for Valley Rich Dairy, a former police officer for Newport News and Smithfield, Va., a Deputy for Isle of Wright County, a member of the V.F.W. Post #4491, and a member of Colony Friends Church. Mr. Gillingham is survived by his wife, Joyce D. Gillingham; a daughter, Jennifer Gillingham; a son, Luke Gillingham, all of New Castle; mother, Dorothy Gillingham; brothers, Larry Gillingham, David Gillingham; sister, Janet Gressley; a favorite aunt, Velma Gray, all of New Haven, Indiana; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Dame, New Castle; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 1996, at Oakey's North Chapel, with Dr. William Lockwood officiating, with burial to follow in New Castle. GLATZER, Hilda Angle 74, of Wayzapa, Minn. formerly of Rocky Mount, died Thursday, April 11, 1996. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Odesa Angle, Rocky Mount. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wallace Angle and Lee Angle. Surviving are her husband, Seymour Glatzer of Wayzapa, Minn.; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Maxie Banks, N.C.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela Glatzer, John and Lisa Sebald, Wayzapa, Minn.; one step son and wife, Andrew and Debbie Glatzer, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Scott Banks, Terry Ann Valentine, both of N.C., and Hayden Sebald, Wayzapa, Minn.; one step-grandchild; one sister, Virginia Angle, Rocky Mount; two sister-in-laws, Mabel Angle and Gloria Angle, Rocky Mount; four nieces and three nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held in Minnesota

HUFF, Eldridge Lee, 91, of Floyd, passed away Friday, April 12, 1996, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blacksburg. Survivors are a sister, Wilma McDaniel, Floyd; sister-in-law, Viola Huff, Floyd; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard W. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. There will be no Saturday evening visitation.

JUSTICE, Robert Glen, 60, of Chickasha, Okla. died Thursday, April 11, 1996. He was born November 8, 1935, in Richmond, the son of James Robert Justice and Ruth Hales Justice. Glen grew up in Richmond, where he attended and graduated from the Richmond Public Schools. He married Jeri Hagy on August 25, 1956, in Meadowview. Glen graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, where he was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and the German Club. After graduating, he was employed with Virginia Tech, serving as Director of Administrative Systems. Glen came to Oklahoma in 1970, where he was employed at the University of Oklahoma as the Financial Coordinator until 1974, when he moved to Enid, Okla., where he served as the Vice President of Finance and Operations, as well as Interim President at Phillips University in Enid. From 1979 until 1990, Glen served as Chief Financial Officer for Dillingham Enterprises in Enid. Glen came to Chickasha in 1992, from Enid, where he was presently employed with the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma as the Vice President of Fiscal Affairs. He was a member of the Grand National Quail Hunt in Enid, where he had served as President; a member of the Kiwanis Club, serving on the Board and receiving the Kiwanian of the year award in Enid during 1976, and in Chickasha during 1995. Glen also served on the Chickasha Cha mber of Commerce Board, the Southwest Youth and Family Services Board, the Chickasha United Way Board, and was a member of the Chickasha Fin and Feather Club. Glen was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Enid. Survivors include his wife, Jeri, of the home; one daughter, Tracey Justice of Oklahoma City; one son, Jeff M. Justice of Oklahoma City; one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Helen Justice of Norfolk; and several aunts and uncles; as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 13, 1996, at 2 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Chickasha, with Dr. Joe Jones of Indianapolis, Ind. officiating. Memorials may be made to the University of Science and Arts Foundation, P.O. Box 82345, Chickasha, Okla. 73023. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

KINGERY, John William 72, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, April 12, 1996. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary O. and Shirley J. Kingery, Salem; three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie K. and Ronnie Wade, Roanoke County, J. Lynn Knight, Sefner, Fla., Karen E. and Floyd Hall, Hardy; two brothers and sister-in-law, Silas and Marion Kingery, Salem, Ri chard B. Kingery, Hardy; two sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Cooper, Hardy, and Shirley and John Ramsey, Yulee, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 15, 1996 at 10 a.m. at the Kingery Family Cemetery in Roanoke County, with the Rev. Bill Atkins officiating. LESLIE, Georgia Victoria Porter, 76, widow of Marvin E. Leslie, died Thursday, April 11, 1996 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She was a member of the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Leslie was a practical nurse for many years at Lee Memorial and Marion General Hospitals, as well as the medica l office of Dr. J. J. Eller. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marvin E. Jr. and Louise Leslie of Marion; one sister, Leona Rowland Sturgill of Chilhowie; a very special niece, Christine (Betty) Cannon of Glade Spring; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Betty South of Marion. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 14, 1996, at 2 p.m. at the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Sheldon Sorge officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
