Beach-Elswick
Wendy Elswick and Jason Corey Beach were united in marriage April 13, 1996 at First Baptist Church. The Reverend Doctor Charles G. Fuller officiated at the 12 Noon wedding. The reception was held in the Church Atrium.
The bride was escorted by her father, Eddie Elswick of Roanoke, and is the daughter of Mrs. James Houston Whisman of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Emory and Henry College. She is presently employed by Adia.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Corbin Luther Beach of Roanoke. He is a graduate of William Fleming High School and Roanoke College. He is employed by The Roanoke Times.
Ms. Jill Elswick of Raleigh, N.C., was her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ruth Musser of Abingdon, Marie Hoskins of Bessemer City, N.C., and Jessie Beach of Vinton. The groom is the son of Mrs. Joan Neighbors of Roanoke, Va., and the late Mr. Glenn Neighbors, Sr. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Forsyth Tech in Winston-Salem, N.C. He is employed as an architectural designer by Strauss Construction in Roanoke, Va.
Mrs. Jamie Winterbotham of Roanoke, Va., served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Linda Kuntupis of Weirton, WW. Va., and Mrs. Kelly Floyd of Tampa, Fla.
The groom's brother, Mr. Glenn Neighbors, Jr., of Roanoke, Va., served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Ron Embry of High Point, N.C., and Mr. David Bell of Troutville, Va.
Barbara wore a full length traditional style gown made of ivory shantung. Large lace and pearl motifs adorned the full skirt and the ``V'' back. The full cathedral train was adorned with lace and pearls. She wore a matching fingertip veil covered in shantung and alencon lace, accentuated with flowers having pearl cluster centers, crystals and sequins. She carried a cascading bouquet of orchids, sweetheart roses, stephanotis, surrounding a miniature Bible carried by her mother in her wedding. The matron of honor and bridesmaids wore matching floor length dresses with matching jackets in seafoam green. They carried bouquets of pink sweetheart roses, tulips, carnations, and an array of greenery.
The reception was held at Hidden Valley Country Club in Salem, Va. After the honeymoon to Paradise Island, The Bahamas, the couple will reside in Roanoke.

Miss Laura Dangerfield, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Mrs. Becky Dangerfield, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Rachel Wieczorek, Florissant, Missouri, sister of the groom; Miss Kimberly Smith, Mrs. Stephanie Moran, Mrs. Patty Rowland, all of Christiansburg; Miss Kim Rowe, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Miss Cyndi Schneck, Charlotte, N.C., all friends of the bride. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor, Christiansburg, and Mr. Richard Dangerfield, Liberty, S.C., is a graduate of Christiansburg High school and earned a Bachelor's degree from Radford University. She is employed by Montgomery County Schools. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Moody, Poplar Grove, Ill., and Mrs. Joyce Dangerfield, Sharon, Wis., and the late Frank A. Dangerfield.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Stanley, and Mr. and Mrs. Zack Mason, is also a graduate of Christiansburg High School and attended Virginia Tech. He is employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Orville O'Quinn.
The couple will reside in Christiansburg, after a honeymoon to Cozu mel, Mexico.
Sullivan-Hall
Together w ith close family and friends, Kari Darrshan Hall and Eugene (Chip) L. Sullivan, III were united in marriage at sunset on Monday, April 8, 1996, at The Greenbrier. The intimate ceremony was officiated by the Rev. G. Mark Washington, pastor of Hollins Road Baptist Church, Roanoke, Virginia. A dinner reception was held in the Main Dining Room of The Greenbrier with dancing in the Old White Club.
The bride's attendants were Alicia G. Corbitt, matron of honor and close friend of the bride, Jennifer A. Lowe, maid of honor and long time friend of the bride, and Allison K. Thornton, honor attendant and cousin of the bride, all of Roanoke. Assisting and special friends of the bride were the Misses Nikki and Katie Smith of Lewisburg, West Virginia. Long time friend of the groom, Hummel Killgore of Covington, Louisiana, served as best man. Also attending the groom was Eugene L. Sullivan, Junior, father of the groom.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a sleeveless princess style gown of delustered satin designed by Jessica McClintock for Patina. The gown featured a rounded square neckline and was adorned with two rosettes at the waist in the back with a sweep train. The head piece was of two matching rosettes with fingertip length veiling, the ensemble was completed with three-quartered length white satin gloves.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson H. Hall, III, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh E. Anderson, all of Roanoke County. She is a graduate of Northside High School and Roanoke College. She is employed as a second grade teacher at Oak Grove Elementary School in Roanoke County. Mr. Sullivan is the son of Mr. Eugene L. Sullivan, Junior, and Ms. Patricia Sullivan of Covington, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Saint Paul High School in Covington, Louisiana and the University of Mississippi. He is employed as a PGA touring professional and Director of Instruction at Hanging Rock Golf Course in Salem.
After a brief honeymoon at The Greenbrier, the couple will happily reside in their new home in Roanoke.
